Mardi Gras is the last day before Lent, when many Christians around the world practice a time of fasting for about 40 days (usually they give up some kind of food or entertainment for that time before Easter).
I had originally bought these masks for our Oscars Party but then totally forgot to get them out.
So on Tuesday night we brought them out and had a grand ol' time playing with them while eating Chocolate and steak and what ever else kind of "Fat Tuesday" food we could think of.
Obi isn't so sure about the mask on Nana.
Obi's mask kept falling down but it was so funny.
Especially when he tried to walk around with it.
Isn't my mom adorable?
