Last Day at Disny World

I started writing this ages ago but forgot to post this.  So here is a quick re-cap of our last day in The Magic Kingdom from way back in October. I know this is way over due, but the pictures of the kids are just too cute not to share.

OH... and since it is Christmas Eve today I hope you all have a magical day and wonderful Christmas.

...

I told Rosie she could pick out any princess dress she wanted. She picked Belle. Which is my favorite but really surprised me because her favorite is Cinderella. But she really liked the Belle dress. Isn't she the cutest little princess you've ever seen?!

Did you know there's a Starbucks in the Magic Kingdom!! I was super excited.
Starbucks and Disney. Could live possibly get any better?

I've wanted to see the hall of presidents ever since I was a little kid and saw a special about it on the Disney Chanel. We finally got to go this year and even Rosie was excited about it. We told her it was a show with lots of robots. She loves robots.

Every single president of the United States.
I was especially impressed with how life like they were. They moved and look around like real people even when the spot light wasn't on them.

We sat in the back because we had Obi with us, but next time I'm going to sit in the front so I can get a close up look at them.

I did Disney nails.
One of the most wonderful moments of the vacation was when Rosie got to meet Ariel. Rosie was so excited and so sweet. She introduced Dancing Bear.
They had a long conversation about dancing
And then Ariel asked Rosie to show her how she danced.

I was pretty excited about finding this stuffed Beast.

It's a very manly room, just like the movie.

Our dinner reservation was late enough that we got to exit the park during the Halloween after hours party. Usually you have to have special tickets for it. We did not. But since we left the park later we got to stay and watch the special Halloween Parade.
It was pretty spectacular and the kids and every one loved it.

Our last bus ride of our vacation, back to our hotel.

It was truly a magical trip. Our days were long and we were all so tired. But we had so much fun and lived every minute of our time at Disney World. The Magic Kingdom is still our favorite. We didn't run around and try to ride every ride or see every land. But we did ride all our favorites and made sure we had plenty of time to just sit and enjoy our selves. We also took lots of time to shop in the super cool shops. Sometimes it's just nice to take your time and look around and all the magic around you.
The only thing that could possibly make Disney World more magical and more wonderful is going at Christmas time. But Halloween is still a pretty fantastic time to be there.

Thankgiving Happened

I know I'm WAY behind on my blog and for the handful of people who read it I am sorry. Especially to my In-Laws who check the blog to get updated pictures of their grand babies.

December was a rough month. The kids got really sick after Thanksgiving... really sick... scary sick. But we are better now. It's one day till Christmas and we only have a couple more days of antibiotics left. This was our first time being on antibiotics. It was scary there for a bit but now they are finally of the couch and playing like healthy children should.

So now I can leave the room (or the house) with out worrying and it's been a whole week since I've been thrown up on!!

November was a crazy month. We mostly spent the whole month getting ready for Thanksgiving. It was the first time the WHOLE family had gotten together for a holiday. It was pretty crazy and pretty fun. 22 people in one house!

Here are some of the pictures I remembered  to take during the week...

 yes, they have matching sweaters
 watching the parade
Uncle Luke brought swords and had a weekend long sword fight with all the kids.

Every one colored turkeys and wrote what they were thankful for

oh... and then we went and bought our first real Christmas tree since we've been married

we wanted this 10 foot one but it wouldn't fit in the house. sigh.
