Jane Austen Tea Party

Today the kids and I got together with some friends and had a Jane Austen themed tea party. 

I made some bookmarks and homemade vanilla as take home gifts and through together some decorations. 

Then we packed up all our tea cups and headed to our friends' house. 

My mother in law gave me some Austen themed cook books as well as this tea tower. Both were put to good use.  

Everyone seemed have a nice time. A lunch of all sweets probably helped. 

Obi and Margaret enjoyed extra special attention 

We all had fun and then we were ready for a nap. 

The food, the tea, the theme, the book discussions were all perfect. But the best part was spending time with good friends. I can't wait till we can do it again.
